Thadaka Telugu Movie 2013 English Subtitles Hit Hit During the pre-release of Thadakka, the Telugu movie which was released on September 19th, 2013, word got out that the movie would not be released in Hindi or Tamil. This had struck a dead end for many who had bought tickets earlier. It has been revealed that this decision was taken due to negotiations by the producers with Amitabh Bachchan. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Raj as lead actors alongside Jaya Prada and Lavanya Tripathi as co-actors. A movie directed by Harish Shankar, Thadakka will be one of the most awaited movies of 2013. The movie is based on the novel written by bestselling author Devanur Mahadeva. It has been reported that both Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Raj were approached by the producers to play the lead roles. Both actors had accepted the role and hence will be seen starring in this action thriller which is set to release on September 19, 2013. K C Venugopal, director of Tamil film ‘Billa’ and producer of ‘Singam’ series has produced this movie whilst his son Karthik produces it under his banner K Productions along with Anand Sai. It is being said that the movie has been shot in some real locations as well as on a set. Inadvertently it was reported that this movie was originally titled ‘Ektara’ which is a Tamil film that released some years back and had Amitabh Bachchan playing the lead role. The story takes place in 2009 where Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Raj play two undercover officers who are asked to fight an international mafia which has killed four people very similar to their own characters. The rest of the story follows the adventures of these two officers and how they manage to defeat the bad guys. Along with Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Raj, the movie also features Jaya Prada who plays a negative role along with three newcomers - Lavanya Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Shruti Haasan - who play supportive roles in the movie. It has been reported that Hollywood stunt director Nick Powell will be choreographing action scenes for this movie which is currently being shot in Mauritius. All songs in this movie are composed by AR Rahman and the background score is done by another South Indian music director called G.V.Prakash Kumar.
